Founding terms

These are the terms of the founding offer, written to be read rather than skipped. If anything below is unclear, write to team@atriumuni.com and it will be explained or fixed.

What a founding place is

Atrium is holding 100 numbered places for its first members. A place is claimed by leaving an email address on this site. It costs nothing, and nothing is owed unless you choose to confirm it later.

How a place is confirmed

When the Atrium platform opens, a founding place is confirmed by writing three notes about courses you have already completed, within fourteen days of your invitation. One completed Debrief counts as all three, because it produces the same answers.

Notes must pass the same review every note passes. Three lines of filler will not confirm a place. The point of the condition is that the platform is not empty when the next 100 people arrive.

Places left unconfirmed after fourteen days return to the queue and are offered to the next person waiting. Nothing is lost by missing the window except the founding benefits. Your account and your access to Atrium continue either way.

What a confirmed founding place gives you

What stays free for everyone

Reading and writing course notes is free for every verified student, founding member or not, and will remain so. Any future paid tier will be for tools built on top of the notes, such as planning and scheduling. It will never be for access to the notes themselves.

What may still change

The paid tools do not exist yet. What they include, what they are called, what the standard price is, and when they arrive may all change. The free year and the priority pricing will not change for anyone holding a confirmed founding place.

If Atrium never launches a paid tier, priority pricing simply never becomes relevant. No money changes hands at any point in claiming a founding place.

The limits of the offer

Your email address

Your address is stored so we can email you about Atrium and your founding place. It is not sold, rented or shared, and every email can be unsubscribed from.

You can have the address deleted at any time by writing to team@atriumuni.com from that address. The privacy page covers this in full.

Who is offering this

Atrium is an independent student project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or speaking on behalf of Qatar University or any other institution. References to Qatar University describe who the platform is built for. They do not imply any relationship with it.

Atrium is not currently incorporated. These terms describe commitments made in good faith by the people building it, and will pass to the legal entity that operates Atrium if and when one is formed.

If something goes wrong

The platform is provided as it is, without warranty. Course notes are written by students and reflect their own experience. They are not advice from the university, and no guarantee is made about their accuracy. Decisions about registration, courses and study remain yours.

Last updated 26 July 2026. Written in plain English on purpose. Where these terms are ambiguous, they will be read in the way most favourable to the member.
